When anxiety creeps in, it can affect everything from our sleep to our appetite.
Have you ever found yourself stress-eating or losing interest in food altogether?
It happens to many of us.
But we don’t want anxiety to control us, right?
We want to be the ones in charge, steering our own ships through choppy waters.
So, I want to share a couple of simple techniques with you today.
First up, we’ve got deep breathing.
It’s amazing what a few intentional breaths can do. Find a quiet and comfortable space. Inhale through your nose, feel your belly rise, and then exhale slowly. Repeat a few times and notice the calm settle in.
Next, there’s heart meditation.
It’s not as complex as it sounds. Just place your hands over your heart, breathe deeply, and let the breath flow naturally. This practice can work wonders in calming the mind and body.
These exercises might seem small, but trust me, they pack a punch. I’ve shared them with clients for years, and the results speak for themselves.
Want to see a visual of these techniques in action? Check out my video below and I’ll walk you through them.
So tonight, when you’re winding down, give them a try.
Remember, we’re in this journey together. If you ever need a reminder or a chat, I’m just an email away 💌
