Let’s delve into a topic that’s been on my mind – spiritual bypassing.
It’s like using spirituality as a magic wand to dodge life’s tough moments.
Ever heard of it?
So, spiritual bypassing is when we skip dealing with our messy life situations by throwing ourselves into spiritual practices.
It’s like trying to use love and light to avoid the not-so-glamorous stuff, like grief, pain, or loneliness.
Picture this: I was knee-deep in Science of Mind studies, thinking I had it all together after my first brother’s sudden death.
I was praying, practicing, and feeling good about it. But when my second brother passed away, the spiritual facade shattered. I felt betrayed, angry, and spirituality seemed like an empty promise.
Now, don’t get me wrong – spirituality is a powerhouse. It lifts us, energizes us, and helps us find our true selves.
But here’s the catch – it’s not a quick fix.
Life is messy, and sometimes we need a bit of denial to get through it. But there comes a point when we must face our shadows, heal our wounded selves, and deal with the pain head-on.
Cultivate an open mind, examine both your dark and light sides, and most importantly, face and feel your pain.
Inner child work is a game-changer. It’s not easy, but it’s crucial for self-growth and discovering your purpose.
This video below shares my journey of spirituality in the midst of losing my brothers.
Remember, you’re worth the effort!
Growth isn’t always fun, but it’s necessary.
So, let’s embrace the journey, navigate life’s twists, and find our true strength.
