Life can be tough, especially when we go through a loss. Loss encompasses a variety of events from losing a job to losing a loved one, or even a pet.
Sometimes, when things get hard, we might want to shut down our feelings.
But here’s the thing: our emotions, whether they’re happy or sad, are like a guide showing us who we really are. They help us grow and become better, more powerful versions of ourselves.
Sure, dealing with loss isn’t easy. It might feel like a lot, and we might want to avoid it.
But the truth is, if we try to block out one feeling, we end up blocking out all our feelings. And that’s not good because our emotions are what make us human and unique.
Loss, as tough as it is, can actually push us to discover more about ourselves.
It makes us face our feelings, and by doing this, we find out who we really are.
Healing isn’t about ignoring the pain; it’s about going through it, feeling it, and understanding how it can change us for the better.
As humans, we all want to become better and grow. It means we have to be okay with feeling our emotions, even the hard ones.
So, let’s go on this journey together. Let’s agree feeling our emotions is okay and it’s a part of growing into the amazing people we’re meant to be.
